Other Drugs Related To Erectile Dysfunction

Till now there are only three drugs have been came to market and they are cialis, levitra, and viagra. Each has its own significance. Also its effects depend upon person to person.

Till Now I was talking about cialis only. Now here comes the Levitra

Levitra, also called Vardenafil HCL is a prescription pill available in the market that helps the men with erectile dysfunction. Levitra starts showing its effects within 15 minutes. Only half of Levitra 100mg is sufficient. It is advisable to take Levitra once in a day.

If the patients are suffering from severe hepatic dysfunction then they are not advised to take Levitra.

Like other Erectile Dysfunction drugs, Levitra also has some side effects. -Most common Levitra side effects include headache, flushing of the face and upset stomach. -Less common Levitra side effects that may occur are temporary changes in color vision, eyes become more sensitive to light, blurred vision.

It cannot be said that long term safety has been reputable. Patients are found to be exposed more to its effect and for a longer time period as compared to their expose to the effects of other drugs.

In 1998 Pfizer launched Viagra; yet does not work in all men. It works in less than 50% of the men with erectile dysfunction. It takes a minimum of half an hour to start working. Men have to take it on a vacant stomach for most effect. Taking food along or before it can lessen its effect. The nastiest part is that it does not work at all in diabetic men. Even the erection induced is not very strong. Viagra also causes bluish discoloration of the eye, blurring of the eye and other cardiovascular side-effects. Viagra only works for 4 hours
